We get it. You’re not a teacher, but you want your child to learn, to have confidence and to experience new things. To be kind as well as smart. Most importantly, you want them to be safe and loved. At Sophia Learning Center, we believe that's exactly what we've been put here to do. Love them and help you train up good kids (according to Proverbs 22:6) that are kind as well as smart and ultimately become world changers; going back into their homes, schools, churches and communities and changing them by being who God created them to be.

Sophia Learning Center accepts students ages 3 to 5-years-old. We offer the following full-day programs - Preschool I, Preschool II and Private Kindergarten programs. Learn more about each program below.
Pre-K
Sophia Learning Center offers two preschool programs - Preschool I (3 and 4-years-old) and Preschool II (4 and 5-years-old). Through our preschool program, students will learn reading fundamentals (decoding skills, phonics and fluency), vocabulary and math concepts, skills and strategies. Our goal is to prepare your scholar to successfully navigate through the school system and provide them with a foundation that will carry them through college.
Students who have gone through our program leave reading, meeting and exceeding State of Ohio Kindergarten readiness standards.
Private Kindergarten
We believe that a strong kindergarten experience prepares your student to become lifelong learners and ultimately world changers.
Our kindergarten program utilizes the Starfall Reading and Math curriculum. This program integrates math, science, health, creative arts, social studies, physical movement, early literacy, and social-emotional development, all under a framework of guided instruction and imaginative play. Students learn and grow through fun and engagement, while reinforcing skills that they learned in preschool.
Summer Camp
Summer should be fun! However, it’s easy to lose what you learned during the school year while you’re having summer fun. At SLC, we offer an eight-week, full day summer camp. We will keep your student learning while infusing Biblical principles with fun, interactive teaching and weekly field trips.
Note: Students must complete a year in Sophia Learning Center's program prior to attending a summer camp.
