What does a World Changer look like?

“Enlarge the site of your tent [to make room for more children]; …and all your [spiritual] sons [and daughters] will be taught of the Lord.” – Excerpts from Isaiah 54:2 and 13 ​

 

For the past five years SLC has been operating out of our home. However, in 2021 God gave us the scripture, Isaiah 54:2 which says to expand our tents to make room for more children. We believe this is the year for that open door. So, we are seeking a community to walk alongside of us and train up more world changers by helping us purchase a new home (school building) for SLC.

 

How can you help?

• First and foremost, pray that God’s will be done with Sophia Learning Center;

• Support one of our upcoming fundraising events by attending, donating or sponsoring. Proceeds from each event will go towards our incubation space this year; Click to learn more about our upcoming event Gospel on Skates - Family Night.

• Visit our website’s Donate page for a listing of daily in-kind needs of the center (i.e. paper towels, tissue, Clorox wipes);

• Keep up with the school and our students’ progress on social media. We’re on Facebook and now on LinkedIn! Help us shine light in the news feeds by following and sharing our students’ progress!

Invest in Christ-centered Education: Take the 100 @100 Pledge

You can also invest in Christ-centered education and walk along side of us as we head towards our new school building in 2026-27. 

Over the next several months we are seeking 100 people who say I see what God is doing and I want sow a seed to help grow this vision.

Your support will enable us to:

• Move from in-home to a brick and mortar location;

• Expand from teaching 6 children to 12 this year and ultimately increase our enrollment to 40 children within the next 3 years;

• Empower more children to stand firm on the Word of God in their youth;

• Give children a strong foundation in reading and math, before kindergarten;

• Walk alongside families and help them to train up their children and instill Christian values through structured learning environments and traditional teaching methods
