A Look Into Sophia Learning Center's
23-24 School Year
“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” – Isaiah 60:1-3

Each year God gives Ms. Brown a theme for the school year. Last year was “Growing Good Fruit.” This year the idea of light, fire, revival just kept coming, and so our classroom door and school was decorated with the theme, Let Your Light Shine.

The other day, God brought the above scripture back to my remembrance. It was one of the promises that God gave our beautiful mother, Constance E. Brown - to arise and SHINE for her light has come.
Also, for those who have been following along with us for a while you may remember us sharing the story of how a man walked up to our mother one day and told her that, “She is a shining star .”

With all that said. We believe that it’s time for your good works to shine, mommy! We don’t know how and we don’t know when, but we do know that God is up to SOMETHING!

Welcome to a new school year with Sophia Learning Center, family. We are so honored to have you on this journey with us. It’s going to be an awesome year.
